Ashley was born 2 months ahead of schedule, and weighed just over 3 pounds. Her time in the ICU lasted a month. On Christmas Day, her parents learned that she'd need to have heart surgery. Christmas Day was the day the doctors verified to her parents what they had begged for since she went into hospital and her parents were told. Ashley was never in need of any surgical procedures. In two months of hospitalization, she was only 4 1/2 pounds at the time of her release. Her health is improving. Her father is English and German heritage. Her mother is from Ireland. She made her acting debut as a Barbie Doll in the commercial for Salon Surprise in 2002. Ashley was then pursued by the Ford Modeling Agency at the age of 8. Ashley has been working steadily with the Ford Modeling Agency for a number of years. She wanted to be an actor from the age of 10. Ashley was able to do over 35 commercials. Then she moved on into the stage. The acting was her passion now. Ashley has given her complete time to the field of acting. Dance and modeling were left out. Ashley's final appearance on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was "Hanna Marin". Ashley made a brief cameo performance in the music video "True Love" by Romeo Miller, aka Lil Romeo and Solange. Britney Spears acted as her co-star in a Vogue Magazine photoshoot. She stars in NLT's "That Girl".
